How ByoFix Bacteria Work

Once introduced into a contaminated pond or lake, ByoFix spores quickly germinate and transform into active vegetative cells. These bacteria begin producing enzymes that break down algae and organic sludge, improving water quality and reducing excess nutrients in the water.

The decomposed algae become an energy source for the bacteria, allowing the process to occur naturally and efficiently.

 
Reduction of Nitrate Excess

ByoFix beneficial bacteria powder actively neutralizes excess nitrates in the water—one of the main causes of algae and duckweed growth in water bodies. This helps restore the natural biological balance of the ecosystem.

ByoFix Beneficial bacteria are packed in 200 g water-soluble sachets.

Dosage

Initial dose (for ponds with high levels of decaying plants and sludge):
3 kg (15 sachets) for up to 3750 m²

Maintenance:
2 kg (10 sachets) for up to 2500 m² every 15 days, until clear improvement is observed

Also suitable for small ponds:
1 × 100 g package is intended for water bodies up to 125 m²
