ByoFix 4X-PS is a highly concentrated liquid bacterial preparation designed to improve water quality in ponds and other water bodies. The

Rhodococcus and Rhodobacter bacteria contained in the product help break down organic matter, reduce sludge and sediment accumulation, and

maintain cleaner and clearer water.

The product is particularly suitable for ponds with high levels of organic matter, accumulated sludge, feed residues, or other organic waste.

How Does ByoFix 4X-PS Work?

The active bacteria use organic matter present in the water and bottom sediments as a source of nutrients for their growth and reproduction. This gradually reduces

the organic load within the water body.

ByoFix 4X-PS helps to:

• improve overall water quality;
• reduce the amount of organic matter in the water;
• break down bottom sludge and organic sediments;
• reduce ammonia and nitrite levels;
• maintain more stable water pH;
• reduce suspended organic particles;
• improve water clarity;
• reduce conditions favourable to blue-green algae growth.

As the amount of organic matter and sludge decreases, the amount of nutrients available to algae in the water body is also reduced.

Dosage

One 1 kg bottle is sufficient to treat up to 4,000 m² of water surface, depending on the amount of organic matter, sludge and the overall condition of the water body.

Standard application rate:

1 g (≈ 1 ml) of product / 1 m² of water surface.

Where there is a high level of organic matter or sludge, repeated applications are recommended.

Repeat the application every 1–2 weeks until the water becomes clearer, sludge levels are reduced, and the desired result is achieved.

Application Conditions

Recommended for use when the water temperature is:

not lower than +5°C.

The product can be used in various types of ponds and water bodies, including ornamental ponds, fishery ponds and aquaculture systems.

Storage and Safety
