    Slurry treatment is ideal for treating slurry to improve its quality and reduce crusting problems.

    Shrinking crust

    Slurry treatment uses a combination of enzymes and bacteria to break down fiber and keep more nutrients in the slurry.

    Enzymes have a direct effect on this decomposition by breaking down the bonds that hold the fibers. Bacteria are the key to long-term slurry effectiveness in the winter. Bacteria need both a source of carbon and a source of nitrogen to grow. Coal is obtained from the organic matter in the slurry and nitrogen from the ammonia in the slurry. The advantages of this are that the solid contains carbon, which reduces the formation and sticking of the slurry crust. Second, ammonia that would otherwise be lost is bound as a microbial protein that is safe from evaporation during storage or distribution.

    More nitrogen

    Avibac S  reduces the amount of ammonia in the slurry. The advantage of this is that nitrogen is bound to reduce losses. Nitrogen is stored as a microbial protein that cannot enter the atmosphere. Spread nitrogen is an ideal form to nourish soil microbes. This in turn improves the condition of the soil, reduces crop burnout and promotes better regeneration. 

    The above test result shows that the amount of ammonia is reduced because the bacteria consume the amount of ammonia. This increases the amount of nitrogen retained in the slurry.

    Less odor

    The odor level in the slurry is reduced because the bacteria in the Slurry treatment reduce the level of ammonia and break down other sulfur compounds in the slurry. As a result, barns with grated slurry storage have less odor. Less odor from outdoor storage and less odor during dispersal. The reduced odor is particularly evident in enclosed pig houses. Lower ammonia levels will further improve animal health and productivity.

    Use 1 kg / 200 m3 slurry storage capacity.

    Add  Avibac S  to the storage according to the storage volume. Distribute as well as possible to ensure the best results. Mixing is an ideal way to ensure that the bacteria spread well.

    Where the containers under the slats or gratings are treated, mix a large amount of water with Avifloc S  and pour over the crusts if possible.

    Regular mixing during the season will increase bacterial activity and reduce the amount of work involved in distributing slurry during the season.

    The product is a combination of a new mineral carrier and selected Bacillus microorganisms. The pores of the mineral surface allow the colonization of the deep-structured biofilm, which provides an additional layer of protection for these microbes. The mineral surface is also able to absorb compounds such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, reducing their inhibitory effect on the entire system.
    The ability of Bacillus to secrete hydrolytic enzymes under anaerobic conditions promotes the degradation of various polymeric compounds present in sludge, such as proteins, polysaccharides, and fats. This helps to liquefy the sludge, making the substrates bioavailable for further decomposition and further methane formation. 

    How does it work?

    Physiochemical component
    Methanogens colonize the inner pores of the mineral carrier. Biofilm formation allows better tolerance of environmental stress and
    the mineral surface facilitates the transfer of electrons between species. Both are beneficial for the growth and activity of methanogen

    Biological component
    Bacillus secretes many hydrolytic enzymes to break down organic polymers into small, more easily digestible ingredients. The improved fermentation phase produces more hydrogen and acetate for methanogenesis

    The strengthening of the most sensitive microbes allows for more methane production.

    The tests showed a very significant reduction in sludge and up to 50%. increase in biogas production. During the tests alone, the savings amounted to € 200,000.
