Sulfides emitted in biogas production can be reduced in several ways

• Sulfide removal in fermenters using ferric chloride (liquid) or ferric hydroxide (powder)
  
• Sulfide removal in biogas filters using activated carbon or ferric hydroxide granules
  
• Biological sulfide removal using special bioproducts before fermenters
  
• Biological sulfide removal by treating the substrate (cattle, chicken farm manure) with bioproducts
