THE TECHNOLOGY

Avibac Bactoblocks have been specially formulated to be used as controlled release technology inwastewater treatment systems to boost performance, by improving effluent, odour and sludge parameters. Bacillus capable of floc formation are slowly released into a system to help tackle problems associated with organic compounds such as FOG and excess BOD/COD.As the block is exposed to effluent, the bacteria within the structure are conditioned to the effluent characteristics and when released they have no need for a prolonged acclimation phase. This allows the Bacillus microbes to immediately begin augmenting the system by delivering their metabolic activity to digest materials such as FOG, proteins, DNA, plant materials and various other polymeric substances.

Avibac bioblock (bakterial digestant) slowly dissolves in your high organic load environment constantly releasing Bacillus spores. Our safe, all-natural bacteria, are present in high numbers to ensure effective degradation of fats and accumulated organic matter in a wide range of environments.
Avibac bioblock cylinder gradually dissolves over a 30 to 90-day period allowing for continuous treatment and degradation of waste. Reduces BOD/COD, TSS, odours, nitrogen compounds, lower phosphates, reduces sludge, fats, oils and grease build ups, degrades animal slurry. The dissolution rate depends on the flow rate of water across the cylinder.
